James K. Reese, EA has been serving Jacksonville and the beaches area for more than 30 years. After graduating from the University of North Florida, he began his career at the Internal Revenue Service before transitioning into private practice. In 1998, Jim founded Tax Advantage, Inc., which had become a staple in the beaches community and throughout the greater Jacksonville area.  In 2019, Jim sold the business, but remained on as a Sr. Tax Advisor.  In helping his successor grow and expand the business, he was drawn back to his roots and decided to open his own practice offering a one-on-one, personal approach.

Jim is an Enrolled Agent (EA).  An EA is the highest credential the IRS awards.   Enrolled Agents are tax advisors who are federally authorized tax practitioners, empowered by the United States Department of the Treasury. EAs represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service for tax issues that include audits, collections, and appeals.
